About the Author
Parimarjan Negi is a former child prodigy who is the second-youngest player of all time to obtain the Grandmaster title. He was Asian Champion in 2012, and played on Board 1 for the Indian team which won bronze medals at the Troms� 2014 Olympiad.

I have not had the time to read this fully ...

I have not had the time to read this fully as of yet, but it seems to be well put together. It contains a bibliography, index of variations, and a complete repertoire for white in the 6.Bg5 Najdorf w/ many new and original suggestions. That should be worth at least 4 stars, but I will update this review after reading further and trying some of the suggestions in some games. OK, I finally got a correspondence game in the following line: 1.e4 c5 2.Nf3 d6 3.d4 cxd4 4.Nxd4 Nf6 5.Nc3 a6 6.Bg5 e6 7.f4 h6 8.Bh4 Qb6 9.a3...only to find out that this book does not cover it at all. It is covered in Chess Developments and is called the Delayed Poisoned Pawn variation, but this book is one year older, so not up to date. Funny thing, GM Negi claims this book in his bibliography, but decides to leave this chapter out. That is just plain negligence. Now I will have to pay someone else to bring me up to date, so only 3 stars for major irritation!

The best new author on the chess scene offers a COMPLETE repertoire with 6.Bg5. Some lines go way past the middle game!!
