This series is deteriorating.
By Jamie
I actually liked the first book and was hopeful that this series would get more sophisticated as the book sank into its plot and characters. Unfortunately, the whole thing is just falling apart. I can't waste any more time on a series where the author begins to use cheap cliff-hanger style endings for EVERY CHAPTER while confusing the names of main characters. The name changes I understand might happen between formats or could just be attributable to poor editing. But incorporating more and more cheap writing devices into the book while adding nothing to the plot gets old really quickly and is inexcusable. The idea behind the first book was nothing groundbreaking, but I did at least hope the characters would develop more depth. I described the pace as fast which some people might think is a good thing. In reality, it's just quickly going in circles, waiting for some sort of payoff.
Instead of a payoff, the reader gets a nightmare of events written childishly involving characters who remain flat as a pancake. If you feel you have to expressly remind your reader that the leader of a troll army likes to kill people for the sake of killing, you might want to scrap the whole thing and start over.

Too many errors.
By BettyD
I don't usually write reviews but I had to on this. I got the kindle version of this book and the story line was good but there were too many errors in the writing. Normally, it doesn't bother me too much but it seemed like the version I received was a rough draft and no one bothered to check for errors. Characters were messed up and lines in the sentences were repeated.

... book "The Weight of Honor" book 3 was another excellent book by Morgan Rice
By CJN
This book "The Weight of Honor" book 3 was another excellent book by Morgan Rice. It had unexpected twists in the content. Some of the chapters were slow but in general the book was well written (minimum errors) and was exciting. I had a hard time in putting it down. I am looking forward to receiving book 4 of the series. Keep up the good work!
