Contradicts Silent Marriage Book

Maybe this book is for those who are at the early stages of a passive aggressive marriage and are determined to work it out because this book seems to suggest that you as the wife can help fix this problem whereas all the others say--it's not your issue you can't fix it. Also this book seems to focus on the husband as the injured child who can't help it while the other books speak in turns of him behaving in a way to control you. My experience is that it's not like they are going to open up to you and in spite of all your attempts to be open,supportive or trustworthy, they don't share and you're not able to reach them. Finally this book gives the impression that you can maybe make this work while the others seem to suggest that you need to evaluate if you can survive in what will most likely be a barren marriage where you can't expect much. I will say that the book does offer some ways to handle particular typical passive aggressive behaviors but I can also say that they don't work--in that it doesn't stop the person from behaving that way. It can however, help you not be so affected by it ...initially anyway but overtime it still gets to you.

Great and so accurate!!!

Sometimes it's hard to see something until somebody points it out. This is exactly what this book does. I wasn't aware, but then this book describes a passive aggresive partner, and I started to pay more attention to the signs. The book is easily understandable and it provides a great guideline to interact with a passive aggressive person and avoid any confrontaction. The examples are very real and they help you really absorb the meaning of the book. This is a great reading for anyone who slightly suspect being in a passive agressive relationship or even if you know anyone that does.

Great info, easy to read

This isn't the longest book in the world but the author makes use of every single page by offering a clear, concise, and comprehensive writing style that does a good job of making even the most complex terminology easy to understand for the average reader. It's evident to me that the information is very well-researched and most importantly for me, it's expressed in a way that can be applied by the reader to make living with a passive aggressive partner easier to manage. I highly recommend it for anyone with a concern about how passive aggressiveness may be interfering with their marriage
