About the Author

DR. BRIAN SIMMONS is known as a passionate lover of God. After a dramatic conversion to Christ, Brian knew that God was calling him to go to the unreached people of the world and present the gospel of God’s grace to all who would listen. With his wife Candice and their three children, he spent nearly eight years in the tropical rain forest of the Darien Province of Panama as a church planter, translator, and consultant. Brian was involved in the Paya-Kuna New Testament translation project and studied linguistics and Bible translation principles with New Tribes Mission. Brian is now working to complete a new translation of the Scripture from the ancient Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek.

A must read translation of the Bible, the Word of God.

I have numerous translations of the Bible. Never have I read a translation that I sense such a powerful anointing of God as I read. I have read and studied God's word for the past 42 years, and I find nothing in TPT that contradicts or opposes other translations such as KJV, NKJV, NLT, NIV, or others. This translation makes difficult passages clearer and easier to understand. It has been a tremendous blessing to me to have it. I am looking forward purchasing the remaining books as they are completed.

The Passion Translation based on the Aramaic Language

We love The Passion Translation! I was first interested in this translation after watching Brian Simmons on Sid Roth, and Brain shared how the Lord commissioned him to do this translation work. Well, that caught my attention! First, I downloaded "Luke and Acts" to my kindle to see if I liked it or not, and I liked it VERY MUCH! Why? Because many passages of scripture that I never understood were now understandable, and made perfect sense! I experienced this over and over again. I did not know that the Biblical Language of Jesus' day was Aramaic, and I have a Bachelor Degree in Theology! I was feeling kind of stupid when I learned that. In Bible Colleges, there is so much emphasis on the Greek language, and studies.

Anyway, the only thing that I wish Brian would have done is to translate more passages from the Aramaic, instead of the Greek, or Hebrew Matthew (for the book of Matthew). In other words, he wouldn't translate using the Aramaic, but he put the Aramaic in the notes. Many, many times I loved the Aramaic - and I wondered why he didn't use it in the translation? I'm sure he had his reasons. This is a little thing, and how I am glad he gave the Aramaic in the notes!

My wife and I have fallen in love with this translation, and my wife loves the small books/booklets in this collection. I, on the other hand, can't wait until he gets the whole New Testament done, and comes out with a leather bound N.T., and then the whole Bible. I hope that everyone will remember that all our Bibles, no matter what version we read, is a translation. My conclusion is that the English translations based upon the Greek alone are not the best, and that the translations from the Aramaic are more accurate, and understandable. Admittedly, Brian draws from both. Enjoy the Word of God in understandable English!

This translation of the Bible has breathed new life into me! It's like reading a love letter from God! I've gotten so much out of it I've bought the complete set currently available for other people to enjoy. It provides a fresh understanding of what the original Hebrew and Greek texts mean, and brings the scriptures down to where I live. I intend to buy every book of the Bible in this series as it is released. Awesome, wonderful translation!

Save a horse. Ride a beard.

Admit it, that made you laugh, didn't it? Imagine lines like that at the beginning of every chapter and throughout the book. It's a drama-driven page-turner with lots of humor and sass thrown in. If that's not enough, expect your heart to melt and your temperature to rise because there is sweet and heat too.
I can't get enough of The Heroes of the Dixie Warden MC. Yes, ALL of them. They are a 'family' of heroes, that are either firefighters, EMT, police, military, or motorcycle club. The men are bossy and the women are feisty and together that are a lot of fun with their witty banter. But there is a lot of danger and suspense too. There's just enough of the right amount of everything to make it an incredible book and an awesome series. And, can you say #CoverLust? Can I get an Amen? *drooling*

This is the 6th book in the Heroes of Dixie Warden MC series. They do not need to be read in order, but I strongly suggest that you do so that you get a better background on all the characters. It's a great series. I think this is the best one yet!

This is Torren and Tru's story.

Grayson "Torren" Trammel is a member of the Dixie Wardens MC. He is also a fireman and medic. In the last book, he was hurt while saving Rue from a fire that would have killed her and did kill his friend, Tunnel. He has to go through months of physical therapy because of his injury. Boy was he surprised when he meets his therapist. She's the woman that changed things for him, but she doesn't know it.

Tru Doherty is that woman. She found herself jumping into his arms because of a dare! That's how it all started for them.

"I was such a dork. I was literally a homebody. I didn't do this sort of shit. I'd never even had a boyfriend! I was still a virgin! I didn't know how to flirt."

These two are perfect for each other, but there is someone trying to keep them apart. It's a struggle to deal with, that's for sure.

"I'll never give up on you. I'll fight Satan and God himself to keep you with me. You're mine, and I'm yours. And you will fight for me if it ever comes down to it. Because if you're gone, what do I have left?" ~Torren

I love both of these characters. Torren is amazing, he is great at his job, and a complete fool for Tru. He will do anything to keep her safe, loved, and protected.

"You, darlin', are what I never knew I needed. I've spent all these years trying to find something I never knew I was missing. But the moment you launched yourself into my arms, you changed my life. This has been the best year and a half of my life, and I know there are many more to come. You're the charge to my line, baby. Without you, I'd be useless. Without a water, a fire would become a raging inferno. And that's what would happen if I ever love you. I'd destroy mountains for you, and will until the day I die."

Just like in the previous books, the life lessons and quotes at the start of each chapter had me laughing. I love them!

"Be a gentleman, know when to hold the door open for her. Be a man, know when to pull her hair."

Tru was ready for her next pt.... a recuperating firefighter. Injured on the job, Grayson had to have therapy to restore to use & mobility to his shoulder so he could continue his work. He was shocked, impressed, & mad at fiery Tru....she put him through his paces appt after appt.....discovering who he really was by friends & family, she was forever in lust!!! Their journey together outside work began on a dare between her & a friend...things were never the same. Grayson had a lot in his life, things he was only learning & trying to figure out. Meantime, Tru has her own issues, a cop who is stalking her. This couple & their relationship continue to grow. They are the other half of one another....Grayson & friends keep an eye on her safety....this guy will make a mistake, he does. Taken care of in the ultimate way, problem solved. Not. Now the cops' brother is seeking revenge, he breaks into their home & tries to destroy their lives. Grayson has become a man who will defend & protect all, after all he is just a man...... So much is in this story, but to reveal would mess with the joy in reading it!!!

Great Mini Review Sheet, Contains everything you will learn in a basic tax course.

I used this chart while completing Federal Income Tax in Law School, it was very helpful. The chart will point you to all pertinent places in your code book and its great at showing inclusions and exclusions. I would recommend to any law students, I am not sure if it would be helpful to someone who is not studying the tax law.

Compelling, fascinating, well researched and written account of the rise and fall of Silk Road

A seriously compelling read. Obviously the author conducted extensive research and immersed herself in the community she is covering. She provides insight above and beyond any other source you may have read about the topic and appears to be one of the few trusted journalists in the 'scene'. What she presents is an unbiased look into the future of the illicit drug trade without the emotion or politics that normally tarnishes the media's own reporting. She also shines a light on the wasted efforts and lack of understanding that backs the conventional 'war on drugs'. Well worth the money if you have any interest in counter cultures, libertarian philosophies or the free trade of illicit substances.

I really enjoyed this book and thought it to be well researched and written. The language was easy enough for someone not familiar with the ins and outs of the dark web to understand, and would appeal to those with an interest in the events of a world you don't see every day in general public arena.

I really liked the fact the author didn't come across as taking sides. There was explanation without propaganda. The book didn't outright support, but it didn't demonise either. Would highly recommend.

Ormsby's book is to be considered required reading for both persons interested in darkweb drug markets and academics studying the field. Ormsby has an intimate knowledge of the field, is respected in the communities and and her description of the Silk Road community is insightful. Among her many insights is the best articulation of the highly political nature of Silk Road, a dimension which remains unexplored in most academic studies and articles.

About the Author
Sir Thomas Malory was a knight and estate owner in the mid 15th century, who spent many years in prison for political crimes as well as robbery. He wrote Le Morte d’Arthur, the first great English prose epic, while imprisoned in Nwgate. The epic was published in 1485 by William Caxton, the first English printer. Malory is believed to have died in 1471.

Keith Baines Translation: Signet Classis

In a nutshell, I think the Keith Baines translation is an excellent edition for the lay reader, high school student, or first-time Le Morte D'Arthur reader who wants to enjoy the essence of Malory's work. Baines' translation is fluid and makes Arthurian Legend accessible and enjoyable for the modern reader.

Although the Baines edition does lack the style and diction of Malory's Middle English, within its pages you will find all of the characters and events that make Malory's work so rich and exciting: the story of young Arthur and his mentor, Merlin; the treacherous Morgan le Fay, the adventures of Arthur and his Knights, the Tale of the SanGreal(Quest of the Holy Grail), the Fisher King, the tragic Elaine, Launcelot and Gwynevere, and the final battle between Arthur and Mordred.

I use the Baines translation to teach an overview of Arthurian Legend to college-prep. senior high school students (British Lit.), and I couldn't imagine using another edition of Malory's Le Morte D'Arthur at that level. (Of note, excerpts from this Baines translation appear widely in high-school textbooks because it is so accessible).

If you are an advanced student and require a scholarly treatment of Malory's text in Middle English, this is not the edition for you.

For a beginner in the Arthurian legends,

This book is wonderful. I'd never had so much as a hint of understanding about these tales until I came across Heather Dale. Her songs sparked my interest and I immediately went in search of articles and explanations. I came across this book and ordered it first thing. I haven't been able to put it down, and though I'm just barely in the middle of "The book of Sir Tristram of Lyoness." I've become obsessed. Just recently ordered another book on it, and read articles as often as I can. Though I'll admit the books not for everyone, as it can be a little bland to some. There was once or twice my eyes were reading and my mind was elsewhere, though that's not all that uncommon. Final word: It's a wonderful book, and if you're into these types of things, I highly suggest you get it. (:

Great read, do not be intimidated.

This book was recommended to me by a friend who had always wanted to finish reading it herself. I enjoyed growing up a lot of the stories of Arthur and this book was a real surprise. It's written almost like a detailed playbook of events. Very very well done and easy to read. For some reason people seemed intimidated by the size of the book and its being translated. Great book, still re-read on occasion.
