About the Author
The Paranormal has always been a part of my life, when I was younger I had encountered something unknown and have been searching for answers ever since. Within the last few years, I have been Investigating the Paranormal, while searching for an already established paranormal group. This is also what lead me to become Founder and Lead Investigator PRAA - Paranormal Research Association Australia. Although only new, interestingly we are based on the Programmed Structure in this book and are dedicated to helping others in aid. I recently returned from an overseas trip to New Zealand's North Island, where I conducted the first ever investigation for that part of the island and country. It was also my first overseas investigation. Although I did not find much, I spent most of the time in bed. But, enjoyed every moment of it. As a Paranormal Research Investigator, like anything else, you will make mistakes. But, this is how you learn from them and acquire more knowledge for next time. This is also what led me to writing this book, to help others who may be starting out and extra information on researching. The second edition of this book: Blessings & Prayers for Paranormal Investigators, will also be available soon.

I was very pleased with the intensive research and informatie for any questions that I had. My son and I are early paranormal investigators. We have been training in Mo. State Penitentiary and all we learned and read in the book follows our training. Great

An awesome poster which comes laminated. It fits in a larger size poster frame with some spacing at the edges. I just back it with the black insert that came with the frame and it looks great on my son's wall in his new space bedroom.

About the Author

John Madinger recently retired as a senior special agent with
the Criminal Investigation Division of the Internal Revenue
Service. In his 36-year law enforcement career, he also served
as narcotics agent, supervisor, and administrator. He holds a
bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Indiana University,
a master’s degree in history from the University of Hawaii, and
was the honor graduate in the Treasury Criminal Investigation
Training Program. He is the recipient of numerous awards
and citations from the Internal Revenue Service, the Drug
Enforcement Administration, and Organized Crime Drug
Enforcement Task Forces. Throughout his career, he had
extensive experience in money laundering, forfeiture, and
financial investigations, developed training programs in these
areas for the Treasury and Justice Departments, and developed
and presented money laundering training in the United
States, Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Caribbean.

In this new addition to the fast-fix diet book shelf, Enig and Fallon attempt to correct what they see as Americans' false belief that tropical fats and oils (such as coconut and palm) are unhealthy, asserting that those fats (and coconut, especially) are beneficial saturated fats that should be more heavily incorporated into our diets. Enig, a biochemist and nutritionist, along with Fallon, president of the Weston A. Price Foundation (a non-profit dedicated to helping people implement healthy approaches to nutrition), say "high-fat, low-carb really works," eschewing the disastrous effects a high-fat diet can have on a person's heart. They like the Atkins diet, but say it doesn't take advantage of the "metabolism-boosting" powers of coconut oil. Their approach skews more toward traditional diets and away from modern diets (e.g., chose animal fats over vegetable oils; raw or fermented dairy products instead of pasteurized ones). Though based on considerable research, the book is somewhat off-putting. Its emphasis on one ingredient-in the recipe section, for example, one sample menu has readers eating a dish with coconut in it seven times in one day-seems nutritionally suspicious.

I ate better than every before with this author's philosophy...

This book is the best approach to adopting a healthy eating lifestyle while not having to sacrifice eating great tasting food. I devised my own plan based upon recipes and recommendations and I lost 26lbs. in roughly 40 days. The best part of this approach is I ate better than any other "diet" I ever tried before. I still eat this way today and maintain a comfortable weight and feel amazing. I feel healthy. I have energy. I am happy. I do not feel deprived or wanting for flavorful food. This book changed my life! I hope it does for you too. Like all books say, consult your physician before trying any change in your typical diet. Health Recovery is BRILLIANT, but Quick and Easy Weight Loss didn't live up to the promise

I wanted to love this book, I really did. I purchased it after I had already purchased Nourishing Traditions and Sally Fallon's broth book as well, and implementing her Health Restore traditional eating diet in this book RADICALLY turned my health around for the better - I no longer suffered from anxiety, I no longer suffered from depression, my osteoarthritis was gone, my weight was stable, my heart problems had gone away, and I was happy. Then one day, I was no longer happy with my weight, and decided it was time to turn to the Quick and Easy Weight Loss section to continue on this happy path. I was VERY excited the first and second weeks, when I lost 2 pounds each week.
As a former Weight Watchers leader who had lost 79 pounds on Weight Watchers, I had been taught, and myself taught others, that in a healthy diet you could expect a weight loss of just one pound per week. Then the third week into the program, I didn't lose anything, not even inches. Same thing for the fourth week. 2 days before the approach of the end of my 5th week weigh in, I weighed myself and found exactly what I'd suspected - nothing lost AGAIN.
So I put my analytical brain to the test and started to sleuth out the problem:
What were my portion sizes, had they grown too large? No
What about my calorie count, had it exceeded 2,500 calories per day? No
What about my oil, was I eating enough coconut oil? Yes

Then I remembered a video I'd watched called Cereal Killers, and Prof Tim Noakes and his High Fat Low Carb Diet. I discovered he'd written a book about it, and after investigation discovered that what had happened, in fact, during weeks 3, 4, and 5, were that my CARBOHYDRATE intake had increased. Not a lot, but I was eating oatmeal every day for breakfast.
So I began adding in Prof Noakes' guidelines for keeping carbohydrates between 25g and 50 g per day, and for the last 2 days prior to my Week 5 weight in, I kept them low, and didn't have oatmeal for breakfast. Result? I lost another 2 pounds at week 5 weigh in. IN 2 DAYS. Contrast that with the full week it took on this program for each of the first two weeks.
I have continued Banting (the diet that Prof Noakes recommends) and have continued to lose a pound a day for the past 4 days.
Can I recommend this book? ABSOLUTELY!!! If you are new to healthy eating, if you have degenerative diseases that need addressing, BUY IT, implement the Health Recovery strategies and you'll be loving yourself for it!
BUT, if you are like me and suffer from carbohydrate intolerance (and everyone is different, everyone metabolizes carbohydrates differently), then consider keeping a keen eye on your carbohydrate intake and make sure it stays between 25g and 50g per day, and you'll have much more success.
Prof Tim Noakes wrote the book 'The Real Meal Revolution' and I highly recommend it as well as Eat Fat, Lose Fat to anyone who is seriously interested in improving their health for the better.

Try it you'll Love It

Excellent book. Love the results I am getting.

I was not on a low fat diet, but averaged 25-35% but still struggled to lose weight. I was eating 1200-1400 calorie a day and struggling. I had reduced carbs to 50 to 100 grams of carbs and had problems sleeping, concentrating.

I have been following her instructions and have raised fat content in my diet to 50-60%. Carbs and Proteins around 20% each. Veggies unlimited. Calories have increased to 1600-2000. I am losing more weight on the higher calories than the low calorie. My weight is also coming off consistently without the ups and downs as before. Although part of that was being caused by emulsifiers and thickeners. I am no longer plateauing since completely eliminating trans fats(canola, soy, corn oils). I don't have any cravings at all. My energy level is up and I feel really good. I do an hour of water aerobics every day. My concentration is also a lot better and I don't feel like I am in a fog. I sleep extremely well. I eat a lot of food and am still losing weight.

It is amazing that what our regular medical doctors are telling us are making us unhealthy. I have been doing this for 5 weeks and have lost 10 lbs and it wasn't a struggle. One of those weeks was vacation. The previous 20 lbs lost was a major struggle.

My girls love this book, 10 & 7, I didn't read it personally but I heard big belly laughs every time they picked it up. Their favorite part was when the little girl called the doctor and said she had to eat cookies to feel better.
